Tip jar
Support GridPrepped.
GridPrepped is free, and the plan is to keep it that way. There's no paywall on your Grid Score, your emergency plans, or the alerts for your ZIP code — and there isn't going to be one.
But the alerts still have to get sent, and the data still has to get pulled. If GridPrepped helped your household get more ready than it was, you can put something in the jar.
Choose an amount
One-time, no account required. You'll go to Stripe's secure checkout — we never see your card details.
Where it goes
Alert delivery
Every severe-weather email and push notification that goes out to a household costs money to send.
Hazard data feeds
FEMA, NWS, USGS, AirNow, and NIFC data is pulled, geocoded, and cached continuously so your risk profile stays current.
Hosting and storage
Plans, supply inventories, and community posts live in a database that runs whether or not anyone's logged in.
This buys you nothing. A contribution doesn't unlock features, remove anything, or change what you see. Everyone gets the same GridPrepped.
It isn't tax-deductible. GridPrepped isn't a registered nonprofit — this is a voluntary tip to the people building it, not a charitable donation.
It's one-time and not a subscription. You won't be charged again. If something looks wrong on your statement, email us and we'll refund it, no questions asked.
Not in a position to give?
Completely fine, and honestly more useful: finish your own plan, then send GridPrepped to one neighbor. A prepared block beats a prepared household.
